Be able to add User Defined Field in Default Doc Items by customer

We have certain items that require the UDF to be filled out.

But when we add these items to the default doc items tab on the customer, we cannot add this UDF there. So when we add the item to the customer order from default doc items, we have to go to a previous order to get the value for the UDF for that customer.
