Ideas for SalesPad Desktop

Add an option to print or not print resources marked autoprint into the smartprinting setup, since we have that option when printing individually.

We set certain resources to autoprint when we print pick tickets.  unfortunately, those also print when we do invoicing, since we have that set to smart print, and there is no option to set the smart printing to not print resources marked autoprint, like the print dialog box has when you print something individually.

    Jim,

That is a good suggestion.  Short term, I'll ask around but I think there is scripting that can be added to the printed report that will prevent the attachments from printing.  I'm just not sure if that works with smart printing or not.  I'll follow up shortly.

    Jacob & Jim,

I am running into a very similar issue. I want resources to print with an Invoice but not with a pick ticket. Is there scripting that can be added to fix this is did you find another solution?

    Thanks,

    Marcus

    Marcus,

We've done scripting for resources in the past, but I can't remember if it was to include resources or exclude resources.  I'll have to go check my old scripting repository.

    Marcus/Jim,

My script was for attachments, not resources.  Let me do some more digging.

    Jacob,

Any update on if you've found a script to control when resources print/don't print with smart printing?

    Thanks,

    Marcus

I was unable to find a way to do this with scripting, but the dev team is working on a solution which will be part of smart printing, which is currently in code review.  Ideally, it will be in a new build before the end of the month.
