Ideas for SalesPad Desktop

Workflow Rules Condition ID

Those with access to the Salespad Workflow function should be able to add their own Condition ID's directly through the Workflow tab instead of needing customization or direct SQL entry. This would allow more customization in the workflows for different user needs.

For example, my company is considering splitting orders in the workflow into different bins depending on sales territory; however, sales territory is not a default Condition ID. This would allow us more flexibility in choosing the party which needs to further process certain orders.

There is a workflow rule condition named "Sales Doc Field =" that allows you to set the field name and the value of the field to trigger the rule.  This should allow you to create your own customized sales doc workflow condition without having to write a custom rule.  There are also conditions for Customer, Item Master, and Sales Doc Userfields.  Our documentation does a pretty good job of outlining the Sales Doc Field as well as listing out the available fields.  If you look here http://docs.salespad.net/support/desktop-support/entry/sp-setup/workflow and scroll down to the last third of the page, you'll see the header for RULE FOR DOCUMENT FIELDS.  That is the section that will outline the use of the Sales Doc Field = rule.
