Specify a date range for Sales Analysis Data Warehouse in Settings

The Data Warehouse for Sales Analysis can get large, and messy.

Speed up processing / reduce warehouse size and complexity by adding a system setting:
Months for Data Warehouse Calculation

And modify your process (sppUpdateDW) to build your data warehouse based on the requested history months.  If we need to add additional months to the warehouse, we can do it on the fly.

    Paul,

There is the ability to add spcpUdateDW, which allows you to control what data is pulled into your data warehouse tables.  I would recommend creating an spcp proc where you can add in a limit to only import documents that are dated today - X number of days/months/years.  Whichever makes the most sense for how you guys operate.  Then as part of your year end close, in the SQL Custom Procedures module in SalesPad, clear the data warehouse tables, and rerun them, purging those tables and only pulling what you have determined to be relevant data.

spcpUdateDW - great idea.   Will post some code ideas here later in case anyone else wants to limit the size of their warehouse.
